Michael Dwayne Underwood, age 27 of LaVergne, TN, died Thursday June, 7, 2012. He was a native of Rutherford County. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Sue Underwood, Harold Wigtion, and William Tuttle. Michael is survived by his mother, Tracy Tuttle Ward of Hermitage, TN; father, Kenneth Dwayne Underwood of LaVergne, TN; sisters, Crystal Underwood of LaVergne, TN, Heather Register of Lakewood, TN, and Kimberly Register of Old Hickory, TN; grandparents, Kenneth C. Underwood of LaVergne, TN and Gladys Wigtion of Lascassas, TN; step-father, Ricky Ward of Hermitage, TN; step-sisters, Holley Cox and Stacey Waldron both of Hendersonville, TN Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Martin Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Michael was a member of the Baptist Church and a construction worker.
