Michael D. "Tinker" Morton, age 52 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday May 7, 2024. He was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his parents, Readie Morton and Mary Ruth Dunn Morton.

Mr. Morton had worked for Hoover Concrete and had been a truckdriver.

He is survived by his brothers, Randy Morton and wife Pamela, Terry Wayne Morton and wife Donna; sister, Brenda Walker and husband Michael; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Saturday,  May 11, 2024 at Cothran Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
