Michael E. Plung, age 55 of LaVergne died Thursday April 23, 2015. He was a native of Iowa and was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Gleason Plung. Michael was owner of Mad Max Cycles in Smyrna, doing what was his passion, working on motorcycles. He was a long time Ford certify mechanic, and was a member of Spring House Worship Center. Michael is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kimberly Plung; sons, Brett Plung and wife Jamie of LaVergne, Brandon Plung and wife Chesanne of LaVergne; grandchildren, Payden, Brantley, and Braydon; father, Robert Plung of LaVergne, and brother, Kevin Plung of Nashville. Funeral service will be 4:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Bruce Coble will officiate. Visitation will be after 1:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro .
