Mr. Michael Calogiro Alphonse Montalbano, age 28, of LaVergne, TN passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born in New Orleans, LA to Michael D. Montalbano and Linda R. Montalbano. Michael was a graduate of LaVergne High School. He was involved in the JROTC program and received numerous awards, as well as attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout, a goal reached by only 4% of all scouts. Michael then graduated from MTSU with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He was in the process of getting his Master's degree in Criminal Computer Forensics. He was a dedicated employee at Securitas who took great pride in his work. He was also a loyal friend to those he chose keep close. He was an avid reader & writer in his free time, and had begun to learn the art of fencing.

Michael is survived by his father, Michael D. Montalbano; siblings, Rlena Blank and her husband John and Steve Hill and his wife Josephine; and nieces and nephews, Emma, Cate, Bella, Maddy, Kymra, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4:00pm until 5:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 5:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
