Mr. Michael Glenn Messick, age 71, of Murfreesboro, TN completed his life's journey and has joined his precious daughter in heaven Saturday, March 21, 2025. He was born April 10, 1953 in Murfreesboro to the late G N and Helen Armstrong Messick. Although Mike faced many life challenges, the word "quit" was not in his vocabulary. Mike loved life. He enjoyed keeping his lawn in immaculate condition. He liked playing cards and making people laugh. Mike had the biggest belly laugh.

Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Barlow Messick; brother, Dale Messick and his wife Alice; and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Messick.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 12:00noon until 1:45pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Willis Housley will be officiating.
