Michael Massey, age 62, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Massey; sister, Michelle Turley; and two nephews, Matthew Bryan Gilliam and Jordan Lee Turley. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Massey.

Michael was a native of Ypsilanti, MI. He was a Manufacturing Executive with Transpo Electronics for several years. The guitar was a huge friend to Michael throughout his life. The last several years he enjoyed listening to up and coming people in the country music industry and was very avid in supporting the groups he favored. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

A graveside service will be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in Mapleview Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.
