Michael Wayne Garrison, age 48 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Monday December 3, 2012. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late William Thomas Garrison who died in 2002. Michael is survived by his mother, Shirley Faulk Garrison of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Michael Blake Garrison of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Laura Ashley Johnson and her husband Rex of Wahiawa, HI, Elizabeth Michelle Garrison of Yakima, WA, and Amber LeeAnn Garrison of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Dylan Michael Johnson of Wahiawa, HI; brother, Stephen Garrison of Goodlettsville, TN; sister, Teresa Dixon and her husband Mike of Murfreesboro, TN; sister in-law, Cindy Garrison of Murfreesboro, TN; nephews, Craig and Dale Garrison, and Colton Dixon all of Murfreesboro, TN; niece, Schyler Dixon of Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Phillip Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Michael was a truck driver with Smyrna Ready Mix.
