Michael F. Ford, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012. A native of Buffalo, NY he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ford and Edith Landreville Ford and sister, Patricia Sudore Fisher. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00AM at Miracle Baptist Church of LaVergne, TN. Brother Todd Kirkland will officiate. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Ford; sons, Chris Ford of Virginia, Doug Ford of North Carolina, and Greg Ford of New York; Gregory Watroba of California, Thomas Watroba of New York; and daughter, Diane Broeker of LaVergne, TN; 15 grandchildren and his brother, Thomas Ford of New Jersey. Mr. Ford was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and was a retired water plant operator and a part time police officer both in Grand Island, NY. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1957. Family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association (4825 Trousdale Drive, Suite 220, Nashville, TN 37220). Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Miracle Baptist Church of LaVergne, TN.
