MIKE PINKERTON, age 58, died Monday at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. Nickey Nichols officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Pinkerton is survived by his mother, Mary Stone Pinkerton of Alabama; daughter, Holly Pinkerton of Alabama; sister, Vicki (Buck) Sellars of Alabama; and a brother, Kevin (Lisa) Pinkerton of California; nieces, Lindy Jeelani, Ally Swofford and Sabrina McKinney. Mr. Pinkerton was preceded in death by his father Walter Eugene Pinkerton. Mr. Pinkerton was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of Bethleham Church of Christ. He was an employee of the Rutherford Co. Board of Education. Active pallbearers will be Buck Sellars, Jim Coe, Randy Lane, Jason Lane, Andy Matthews, and Bruce Fleig. Cousins will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials in memory of Mr. Pinkerton may be made to Bethleham Church of Christ Building Fund or The Alvin C. York VA Hospital.
