Michael A. Bloom of Murfreesboro TN passed on to his heavenly home on July 31, 2014. He was born to John & Helen Bloom on April 9, 1957 in Tiffin. He married Jennifer Grose in 1989 and they later divorced. Survivors include son Aubrey of Murfreesboro, TN and daughter Chloe of Cleveland TN, siblings Jean (Ron) Berry, Kathy (Glenn) Platt, Geralyn Hammer, Kenny (Darlene) Bloom, Ed (Tara) Bloom, Wanda Wenner all of Tiffin, Sharon (Ed) McCormack and Loretta Bloom of Aiken SC, many nieces and nephews, his special friend and caregiver Jenny Grose Bloom. Mike was preceded in death by his father John Bloom, a sister Carolyn Houck, brothers in law Ed Houck, Ken Hammer, and Gene Wenner. Mike graduated from Mohawk High School in 1975. After briefly working at National Machinery, he served two terms in the United States Air Force. Mike discharged as a SSGT and decorated F-16 crew chief. He earned an associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance and his A&P certification. Mike's passions were his children, working in his yard and garden and sharing the produce. He attended St. Luke's Catholic Church in Smyrna, TN. Burial with military honors will be 1:00pm, Friday, August 8, 2014 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. A memorial mass will be held in Tiffin, Ohio at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Alive Hospice of Nashville, TN.
