MICHAEL ANTHONY AKIN, age 60, of Lavergne, Tn. died May 28, 2009 at Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Center. He was born in Davidson County and was the son of the late William E. & Mary Ruth Ferrell Akin. Graveside services 10 am Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Earlis Johnson officiating. Burial in Roselawn. He is survived by his two brothers, W. R. Akin of Redfield, Arkansas and Larry Akin of Lavergne; nieces and nephews, Stacy Akin and Coby Michael Akin.
