Merrill Christine Denson age 70 of LaVergne, died Friday February 15, 2013. A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jewell Winfrey Gentry. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna, with Brother David Couch officiating. Burial to follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Ms. Denson is survived by daughters; Tracy Denson of LaVergne, Tonya and her husband Todd Howell of Greenbrier, sons; Timothy and his wife Bobbie Denson of Orlando, Florida, Troy and his wife Heather Denson of Murfreesboro, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Bobby Gentry, and Hershel Gentry. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
