Melvin Ray Adams, Jr., age 59 of Readyville, TN, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born in Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of Melvin Ray Adams, Sr. and the late Ladonna Woods Adams who passed away on April 22, 2021.

Ray is survived by his son, Tanner Adams; father, Mel Adams; brother, Michael Adams, and the mother of his son, Cathy Adams all of Readyville, TN; aunt, Nancy Boisseau and her husband Allen of Readyville, TN; and cousins, Adam Boisseau of Readyville, TN, Chris Boisseau of Watertown, TN, Angel Adams-Davenport and her husband Jim of Murfreesboro, TN, and Melanie O'Neal and her husband Dennis of Readyville, TN.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday following the visitation with Teb Batey officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery with friends serving as pallbearers.
