Melba Mosier Pinkerton, age 69, of Versailles, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Christine Binkley Mosier.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Ken Polk will officiate. A private graveside service will be in Nance Cemetery.

Mrs. Pinkerton is survived by her husband, John Nance Pinkerton; son, John Pinkerton and his wife, Andrea of Versailles, TN; daughter, Laurel Nance Davenport and her husband, Keith of Versailles, TN; grandchildren, John R. Pinkerton of Nashville, TN; Felicia Ann Frazier and husband Chase of Christiana, TN; and Luke and Josie Davenport of Versailles; great-grandchild, Jesse C. Frazier of Christiana; sister, Linda Gatlin of Mt. Juliet, TN; and niece, Christie Remaly of Brentwood, TN.

Mrs. Pinkerton was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the nursing staff and doctors at St. Thomas West for the love and care given to Mrs. Pinkerton.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Pinkerton can be made to the Gideons International.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
