Maymie Nadine Harrell age 82 of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday September 26, 2015. A native Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Houston Drennon and Maggie Bowman Porterfield. She is also preceded in death by her husband; Glenn Edward Harrell, brothers; John Porterfield, Arnold Porterfield, Everett Porterfield, and sisters; Pauline Robinson, Annie Opal Blair and Dell Roberts. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jim Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Harrell is survived by her son; Larry Harrell and his wife Anita Dianne, daughter; Donna Mercer, all of Murfreesboro, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother; Barry Porterfield and his wife Betty, two sisters; Maggie Lee Weeks and her husband Lewis all of Murfreesboro and Betty Lou Melton and her husband Jack of Winchester, Tennessee. Mrs. Harrell was a member of Taylors Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Harrell and her late husband Glenn were the former owners of Town and Country Market on Bradyville Pike.
