Maureen (Molly) Donaldson Pyburn, age 46, of Smyrna, TN., died Tuesday, December 08, 2009 at her residence. A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Hale C. and Mary Louise Moore Donaldson. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at the Smyrna Assembly of God and Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Pastor Ronnie Meek officiating. Interment will follow the service Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with a graveside service at 12:30 P.M. Mrs. Pyburn is survived by her husband of 22 years, Wayne Pyburn of Smyrna, daughter Kassidy Pyburn of Smyrna, two sisters; Kathleen Donaldson of Smyrna and Laureen Donaldson of Nashville, one niece; Sarah and two nephews; Nathan and Chris. She graduated Overton H.S. in 1981 and MTSU in 1985 and held Bachelors Degrees in both Elementary Physical Education and Nursing. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and the Sigma Theta Tau, a nursing honors society. Mrs. Pyburn was a former member of the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville and was a member of the Smyrna Assembly of God. She was employed with the Nashville V.A. for 16 years as a Clinic Instructor. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials can be made to the Nashville Union Rescue Mission. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna and 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church until the celebration.
