Mattie Sue Thurston, age 91 of Murfreesboro passed away Friday at Northside Healthcare Center. Ms. Thurston was a native of Christiana and was the daughter of the late Horace and Bertha Frizzell Clark. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford county and member of Third Baptist Church Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Miller Cemetery in Christiana. Rev. Steve Hutson will officiate.
