MATTIE NIPPER MARTIN, age 89 of Murfreesboro died Friday September 3, 2010. She was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her husband, Will Martin, Sr., children, Will Martin, Jr., Willow Dean Lyle, and her parents, William and Willie Compton Nipper. Mrs. Martin was a member of Westgate Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Lola Martin, Robert Martin, Horace Ray Martin and his wife Evie all of Murfreesboro; brother, Ben Robert Nipper of Murfreesboro; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
