Matthew "Matt" Austin Buckner, age 31, of Smyrna, TN passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was born in Nashville, TN to Russell and Ann Ashburn Buckner. Matt attended Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. He enjoyed fishing whenever he had the chance. Matt was a loving son, brother, husband, and father to his family. He was loved by all who knew him.

Matt is survived by his wife, Becca Buckner; parents, Russell and Ann Buckner; children, Cashtin Gage Buckner and Austin Knox Buckner, Aaron Matthew Gregory, Gracie Joy Wiesman, and Makayla Danielle Wiesman; grandmothers, Judy Danner and Gloria Buckner; sisters, Kathie Leah Buckner and Sherry Ann Buckner; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
