Mary Zeltner, age 82 of Murfreesboro, died at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Smith County and a daughter of the late Frank and Alma Overstreet Vaden. In addition to her parents she was preceded by a daughter Susie Hickman and grandchildren Trey Zeltner, Robin Rush and Jeanine Zeltner. Ms. Zeltner is survived by sons Joe Zeltner and his wife Lisa of Murfreesboro, Gene Zeltner, Jr. of Smyrna and Mike Zeltner of Joelton; daughters Marilyn Hailey and her husband Gary of Murfreesboro, Kelly Poland and her husband Gary of Maryville and Stacy Smith and her husband David of Memphis; a brother Glendon Vaden of Gallitin; and sisters Juanita Ponder of Arizona and Jeanette Longwell and her husband Scooter of Murfreesboro; a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and other loving family. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Friday night at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Bill Couch officiating. Burial will be in Christ Church Memorial Gardens, Nashville.
