Mary Hunt Wrather, age 74, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Adams Place. Ms. Wrather was the daughter of the late Charles Hubert and Alice Louise Barger Pate. Ms. Wrather is also preceded in death by her first husband Carl L. Hunt who passed away in 1996 and her brother John Pate. Ms. Wrather is survived by her husband Lytle Wrather; daughters Gwen Cline and her husband John of Hampton, VA, and Kathy Scott and her husband Ron of Murfreesboro; brother Bill Pate of Knoxville; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Wrather was a registered Nurse at Adams Place in Murfreesboro and previously at NHC in Knoxville. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM CST Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro; and 11:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM EST Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home in Knoxville.
