Mary G. Vannatta, age 86, of Smyrna died September 11, 2014. She was a native of Beaver Falls, PA, and daughter of the late Edward O. and Ellen Cairns Conrad. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday with funeral services at 7:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Loyd Mabry officiating. A committal service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. Mrs. Vannatta is survived by her son, Stephen E. Drogus and his wife Maureen of Ashburn, VA; daughter, Danielle Howell of Smyrna; three grandchildren, Matt Smith and wife Keeli of Nashville, Tracy Nugent and husband Kevin, and Jennifer Sutliffe and husband Ben both of Ashburn, VA; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert H. Vannatta who died in 2012.
