MARY B. SWEENEY, age 82, of Lavergne died Friday, June 10, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Martha Anne Sanders. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sweeney and son, Danny Griffin. Funeral service will be 11:00am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bob Bush will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Waldron of Lavergne, brothers, Gene Sanders of MI, Sonny Sanders of IN, grandchildren, Donna Armstrong of Smyrna, Steven (Amber) Waldron of Murfreesboro, Shane Dyer of Lavergne, and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Sweeney was a member of Burnetts Chapel Church of Christ and a homemaker.
