MARY SINGLETON, age 87, of the Dilton Community died Saturday January 30, 2010. She was a native of the Dilton Community and daughter of the late George L. and Josie Lee Fleming Singleton. Funeral service will be 10:30am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Ash and Rev. Beryl West will officiate. Burial will be in the Dilton Cemetery. She is survived by her brothers, John (Becky) Singleton of Apex, NC, and Richard Singleton of Springfield, sister, Gertrude Singleton of Dilton. She was preceded in death by brother, Pete Singleton and two sisters, Edith Carter and Martha Louise Williams. Miss Singleton was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration. Active Pallbearers will be Chris, Robert, and Joe Singleton, Steve and Jay Williams, and Bryant L. Carter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Neal and Patrick Miller, Perry Wells, Sammie Kelton, Jr., and Charles Robinson.
