MARY SHAW, age 79 died Wednesday September 9, 2009. She was a native of Lafayette, TN and the daughter of the late, Willie Omar and Bonnell Doss Bandy. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by husband of 59 years, Donald Shaw; daughter, Teresa (Robert) Smith of Murfreesboro; granddaughters, Rebecca (Steven) Hodges of Virginia, and Rachel (Mark) Garrard of North Carolina; three great-grandsons, Jackson, Braxton, and Landon Hodges; one great-granddaughter, Adrianna Garrard; brothers, Tom ( Bonnie) Bandy of Lafayette, and Harold Bandy of Kentucky; sisters, Emmer Gean Chitwood, June Garnett, and Shirley Dozier all of Lafayette, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Pastors, Steven Hodges and Mark Garrard officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
