MARY WARDINE REED BARTLETT age 92 of Murfreesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday April 6, 2012. A native of Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Lydia Vance Reed. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, with Wayne Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her daughter Kay Bartlett Perkins of Murfreesboro, granddaughter Cayce Perkins Gerald of Murfreesboro, sister-in- laws Peggy (Thomas) Williams of Norene, Frances Perry of Murfreesboro, and her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by husband James Bartlett, her son Jim Bartlett, her four sisters Ione Reed, Robbie Pinkerton, Pauline Blair, Marie Potts, and her son-in-law Darrell Perkins. Mrs. Bartlett was retired from BellSouth telephone company. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel.
