Mary Ortega, age 101 of Smyrna died Friday September 5, 2014. She was a native of Cuba and longtime resident of Miami, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ortega; daughter, Elizabeth Ortega, and son Manuel Ortega. Mrs. Ortega was a member of the Catholic Church, and retired from the State of Florida. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Mrs. Ortega is survived by her son, George Ortega, and his wife Miche; step-grandson, Reid Harrington, and his wife, Robin of Georgia.
