Mary Ann Ormes, age 57 of Smyrna died Tuesday July 30, 2013. She was a native of California and was preceded in death by her parents John and Louise Murphy and grandchild, Charles Thomas Ormes, brother, Doug Murphy, Father-n-law, Thomas C. Ormes. Mrs. Ormes was a member St. Edwards Catholic Church in Nashville and was retired from Ingram Book Company. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas F. Ormes; children, Laura Roark and husband Cory of Old Hickory; Chris Ormes and wife, Tracey of Smyrna, Jeff Ormes and wife Kelly of Murfreesboro; grandchildren; Jaelynn and Casen Roark, Alexis, Madelyn, Braden, Kyla, Maci Ormes Evelyn Finney; brother, Dennis Murphy and wife Diane, Bob Murphy, Gary Murphy; sister, Sharon Eckhardt and Karen Murphy all of Califorinia; mother-in-law, Frances Olivia Ormes of Murfreesboro, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 1PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Pastor Paul Chisgar will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetey.
