Mary Josephine ONeal Vaughn, age 83, of Walter Hill, died Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hezekiah and Dessie Mae Dillon ONeal and her husband, Robert Lee Vaughn, who died in 1976. Funeral service will be 1:30pm Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Dr. Jim Clardy will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Vaughn of Walter Hill and brother, John J.W. O'Neal of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Vaughn was a beloved wife and mother.
