MARY JO McCRORY ENGLE, age 86, of Murfreesboro died Thursday, June 18, 2009. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Elwood and Mecca Dillon Short. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Eugene McCrory in 1977, second husband, John Russell Engle in 1997, and a brother, Marvin G. Short. Funeral services will be 10:30am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Jeff Fryer and Bro. David West will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived be her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jean and Eddie Clark, DeLinda and Terry Gay, Billie Sue and Robert Bowman, all of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Kimberly (Chris) Lynch, Jeff (Tamela) Howland, Tim (Melissa) Howland, Terri Lee (Robbie) Adcock, great grandchildren, Josh Howland, Blake Howland, Tate Howland, Colby Howland, Corey Howland, Dillon Lynch, Denton Lynch, and Dalton Lynch, step grandchildren, Brittney McConkey, Kristin McConkey, Taylor Adcock. Mrs. Engle was a retired manager of Colony House Apartments and a member of the First Baptist Church. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
