Mary Norman Hoover O'Brien, age 87 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday July 16, 2013. She was a native of Rucker, Tennessee and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O'Brien, and her parents, Ephriam Frank and Mary Lou Hendrickson Hoover; brother, E. Frank Hoover, Jr.; sisters, Sara Hoover Haynes and Robbie Hoover Lawrence. Mrs. O'Brien was a member of Barfield Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by son, Randy O'Brien and wife Beth Barnard, daughter, Cindy O'Brien; one granddaughter; Molly O'Brien; devoted companions Hailee Mosteller, Dorothy Leonhardt and loving circle of friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. O'Brien to Stones River Manor. Funeral service will be 11AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Byers, and Brother Kirk Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A reception will follow at Stones River Manor at 1:30PM Saturday.
