Mary R. Grannen, age 88, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2016. A native and long-time resident of Cincinnati, OH, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marion Burke Elsaesser; and a sister, Carol Gardner.

A funeral mass will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Mrs. Grannen is survived by her children, Sandy Stadtmiller and her husband Carl of Murfreesboro, TN, Walt Grannen and his wife Cathy of WI, Jan Waters of AZ, and Matt Grannen and his wife Mary Ann of KY; brother, Ed Elsaesser and sister, Cecilia Anderson both of FL; grandchildren, Lisa, Monica, Tim, Alex, Joey, Brandi and Chris; and great-grandchildren, Zachary and Mary Rose.
Mrs. Grannen was a member of St. Rose of Lima. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Cincinnatian Hotel.
