Mary Alice Garriott, age 69, of LaVergne, TN died Thursday, April 16, 2015. A native of Madison, WI she was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Verleen Peck. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 23, at 12:00 Noon at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Mrs. Garriott is survived by her loving husband, John Garriott; children, Robert Harrison, Sandra Jordan, Jeff, Eric, Ed, and Paul Harrison, and Steven, John, Jim, and Kevin Garriott; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Berkan; and a sister, Carol DeVoss and her husband Orville all of Wisconsin. Mrs. Garriott was of the Baptist faith. She loved watching TV and enjoyed reading. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
