MARY PATSY FISHER BURTON age 56 formerly of Murfreesboro, passed away from a long time illness with cancer on October 14, 2009 in Altamonte Springs, Fla. She was a native of Columbia, TN and was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Elizabeth Walker Fisher. Mrs. Burton was a 1971 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and attended MTSU. She is survived by her high school sweet-heart and husband of 32 years, Charles E. (Eddie) Burton, sister Anne (Ron) Nall, brother Hal (Karen) Fisher, sister-in-law, Kelly ( Chuck) Smotherman, mother and father-in-law, Ruthe and Charles Burton, nieces and nephews, Beth Nall Parks, Maj. Chris Nall, Dawn Ross, Dana Berry , Caleb Summar, Charley Smotherman, and Zachary and Ethan Parks, Jacob and Rebecca Nall, Austin and Alex Ross, Dalton Berry, and her beloved dog Charlie. Patsy was employed at CAN Insurance in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Ron Harper will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
