MARY ELIZABETH YOUNG, age 83 of Smyrna died Wednesday September 10, 2008. She was a native of Lawrence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Frank and Sarah Lou Fulks Shelton. She was a member of First Free Methodist of Gallatin, and a devoted wife and mother. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Al Buckta officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. She is survived by her husband of 65years, Cecil Young; children, Mary Ann ( John) Sutherland of FL, Delores ( Paul) Swearns of Smyrna, Michael A. (Nikki) Young of Smyrna; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be, Joel Caldwell, Sean Swearns, Joshua Young, Hunter and Joe Cates, and Joseph Wright.
