Together again, Mary Katherine Burnett Warrick, age 84 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Wednesday November 2, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis G. and Myra Jenkins Burnett, Sr.  She was also preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Jackson Warrick, a daughter, Brenda Gail Gowing, and two sisters, Josephine Hill and Mary Lee Nipper.

Mrs. Warrick is survived by a son, Roger Gowing and his wife Pat of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Judy Maxwell and her husband Louis of Unionville, TN, Sue Warrick of Smyrna, TN, Betty Layhew of Murfreesboro, TN, Faye Robinson of Shelbyville, TN, and Joy Ann Kist and her husband Rusty of Greenville, TN; brothers, Toby Burnett and his wife Settie of Giles County, TN and L. G. Burnett, Jr. and his wife Reba of Christiana, TN; sisters, Dot Fish and her husband Charles of Murfreesboro, TN, Maxine Painter and her husband Randy of the Midland Community, Ann Clark and her husband Lester of Murfreesboro, TN, and Laura Lancaster and her husband Robert of Portland, TN; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Ken Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Mrs. Warrick was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired cafeteria cook with Thurman Francis Elementary School.
