Mary Ruth Wooten Branson, age 86, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. A native of Buffalo, MO she was preceded in death by her parents, John Gay and Ida Jane Taylor Wooten; and her husband Wayne L Branson. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor George Jackson will officiate. Mrs. Branson is survived by her daughter, Winona Benson and her husband Dr. Howell Benson; grandchildren, David Scott, Doyle Scott and his wife Michele; great-grandchildren, Jacob Scott and his wife Courtney, and Shannon and Sarah Scott; and great great-grandchildren, Ryder and Violet Scott all of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Branson was a member of World Outreach Church. She was a graduate of Carthage High School in Carthage, MO. Family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to World Outreach Church in memory of Mrs. Branson at 1921 New Salem Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
