Mary Carter Arnette, age 89, died Wednesday Sept. 10, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Rutherford Co. and daughter of the late Carter B. and Mary Carlton McKnight. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Arnette who died in 2002. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev . Dave Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Arnette is survived by her daughter, Sandra Neely and her sister, Sue Davidson both of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Mary Joanna Ross and Charles Neely both of Murfreesboro; and two great grandchildren, Grace and Lilli Ross. Mrs. Arnette was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a graduate of Kittrell High School. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
