Mary Jane Allen, age 93, of Murfreesboro died Sunday, September 26, 2010. A native of Bloomington, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Leo and Madeline Kelly. She is also preceded in death by husband Arthur Hugh Allen, son Jim Allen, Brother James Kelly and two sisters; Margaret Allen and Colleen OGrady. Services will be Thursday at 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Joseph Breen and Father Mark Sappenfield will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kathy and Ken Stegall and son and daughter in law, Bobby and Sue Allen; five grandchildren, Matt and Ashlee Allen, Kelly Darnell, Jessica Stegall and Artie Allen; and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was a long time member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She was a member of the Stones River Garden Club and the Stones River Golf Association. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the St. Rose School in memory of Mrs. Allen. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 615-893-5151
