Mary Frances Adams Earp , age 81 of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Thursday September 29, 2016. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County for 78 years. Mrs. Earp was the daughter of the late Jesse Adams, Sr. and Julia Vaughn Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edmund R. Earp, a brother Billy Houston Adams, and a sister, Joyce Adams Grubbs.

Mrs. Earp is survived by her brother, Jesse Adams, Jr., and his wife Dollie Ann of Winston-Salem, NC; two nieces, Linda Fay Baity, and her husband Jeff of Winston-Salem, NC, and Brenda Kay Weeks, and her husband Robert of Pensacola, FL; great-nephew, Adam Baity of Winston-Salem, NC; great-niece, Autumn Baity of Winston-Salem, NC.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Baity officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will also be from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Earp was a member of Taylor's Chapel Baptist Church. She retired in l991 from American General Insurance Company after 38 years of service.
