Marvin Jacob Robinson, age 83 of Lebanon, TN, died Thursday May 23, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Henry and Bertha Sally Robinson. He was also preceded in death by nine brothers, and a grandson, Marvin Jacob Robinson, III. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Anita Stiles Jones Robinson; sons, Marvin Jacob Robinson, Jr. of Mt. Juliet, TN, Terrell Glen Robinson of Pikeville, TN, Charles Herbert Jones and Edward Wayne Jones both of Lebanon, TN; sister, Omega Churchwell of Pegram, TN; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Ridge Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Mr. Robinson was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Beechgrove, TN, and a retired Convenient Center operator with Wilson County.
