MARVIN KING, age 65 of LaVergne died Wednesday August 27, 2008. He was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his father, Robert King and two sisters, Mary Ann Moore, and Dorothy King. He was retired from State Farm, and an avid University of Kentucky Basketball Fan. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Clark Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. He is survived by his wife, Anna King; Son, Ashley King and his fiancée Jessica Swann of Smyrna; Daughter, Nicole and her husband Clark Harrell of Smyrna; Grandchildren, Rebecca, Carden, Reagan, Abbington, Rachel and Jeffrey Harrell; mother, Annie Lee King of College Grove; Brother, James Robert King of College Grove.
