MARVIN E. JONES age 81 of Smyrna, died Tuesday December 15, 2009. A native of White House, Tennessee he was the son of the late Marvin O. and Ella Carver Jones. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Mark Seagrove officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Jones is survived by his Sons Gary (Kelli) Jones of Lavergne, James Jones of Smyrna, Daughter Linda (Tony) Schleicher of Madison, Granddaughter Ambra Barnes, one Great Grandchild Bobby Barnes, Brothers Floyd Jones and Jerry Jones both of Nashville. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hix Jones, Sister Leola Spann, Brothers Melvin Jones, Loyd Jones, and Earl Jones.
