MARVIN L. BRILEY, SR. age 82 of Murfreesboro, died Friday March 19, 2010 at his home. Mr. Briley was a native of Rutherford County and son of the late Charles L. and Laudis Hartman Briley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Thelma Taylor Briley, and a brother Clayton Briley who both died in 2005. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Charles Mullins will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Briley is survived by his son Buddy Briley and daughter Cindy L. Briley both of Murfreesboro. Brother and sister in law Edmond and Margaret of Fayetteville. Mr. Briley was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and former owner of Briley Plumbing and Electric. He was graduate of David Lipscomb High School and attended Lipscomb University. Pallbearers will be Robert L. Raney, Jeff Raney, Elders and Deacons at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and friends.
