MARTIN P. EWELL, age 70, of Murfreesboro, died July 20, 2010. He was a native of Rutherford Co., and son of the late William P. and Nellie Reed Ewell. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Thyatira Cemetery with Pastor Ken Polk officiating. Mr. Ewell is survived by a son, Kurtiss Ewell of Murfreesboro; a daughter Kim Ewell of Nashville; brother, John Marlin Ewell of Murfreesboro; and a granddaughter, Kate Ewell of Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by three children, Karen, Kerry, and Kirby Ewell. Mr. Ewell was a member of the Baptist Church and was retired from Samsonite.
