Martha Ann Morgan, age 93 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Smyrna, died Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Brookdale Assisted Living, Green Hills. She was a native of Smyrna and was a daughter of the late, Willie Jarratt McLaughlin and Anna Bell Thompson McLaughlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Voorhies Morgan; a sister, Frances McLaughlin; and a nephew, Don Blair.

Survivors include a sister, Vera Jean Blair of Brentwood; nieces, Carol Mabry and husband Keith of Brentwood and Connie Gunnells and husband Greg of Franklin; a nephew, Kent Morgan of College Grove; several great nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Mrs. Morgan was a 1944 graduate of Smyrna High School and was a longtime member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Following her retirement from National Life Insurance in 1983, she remained active and enjoyed her friends and activities at the Smyrna Senior Citizens Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services beginning at 11:00 am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
