Martha Elizabeth McCullough Bouldin, age 84, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. She was born in Murfreesboro on January 25, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Colonel Hubert Laws McCullough and Virginia Garrett McCullough; and her brothers, Robert Garrett McCullough and Martin Allen McCullough. She is survived by her husband, Granville "Buck" Sumner Ridley Bouldin; her sons, Granville Sumner Ridley Bouldin, Jr. and his wife Ruth Jennings Bouldin, Edward Laws Bouldin and his wife Shannon Smith Bouldin, and Garrett McCullough Bouldin and his wife Melissa Leahy Bouldin; grandchildren Laws McCullough Bouldin, Ellis Carlyle Bouldin, MaryGrace Mozelle Bouldin, and Granville Sumner Ridley Bouldin, III; and her brother Hubert Laws McCullough, Jr.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro.  She attended Stephens College, the University of Tennessee, and was graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.  She later earned her M.A. in History from Middle Tennessee State University.

She was an avid tennis and bridge player.  Her greatest delight came from her family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 23 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM.   Private interment will follow.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charity Circle of Murfreesboro.
