Martha Elizabeth Jones, age 79 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the Late William Bell and Gladys Davenport Bell. She is survived by her husband, Johnny B. Jones, brothers-in-law, George (Joyce) Jones, Terry Jones, both of Murfreesboro, sisters-in-law, Mary (Terry) West, Josephine (Myron) Grigsby, both of Murfreesboro, Sue Jones of Madison, Edna Jones of Shelbyville, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Jones was a member of Barfield Baptist Church, a graduate of Kittrell School, and retired from Murfreesboro Water and Sewer after 45 years of service. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bro. Ron Byers will officiate.
