Ms. Marla Jackson, age 51, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born in Santa Ana, CA. Marla worked for several years in construction. She enjoyed the outdoors, specifically fishing for catfish. Marla loved wild flowers and even kept a shovel in the car to transplant them to her yard.

Marla is survived by her children, James Churchwell and his wife Misty of Murfreesboro, Jerry Churchwell of Murfreesboro, Brittnee Herron and her husband Chris of LaVergne, TN, Benjiman Jackson of Smyrna, TN, Jeremiah White of Murfreesboro, Brandon Churchwell of Murfreesboro, and Jeremy Churchwell of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Amber, Bentley, Hunter, Grayson, and Willow; fiancee, Larry Basler of Murfreesboro; and father of her children, Jeff Jackson of Smyrna.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
