Mark Richard Goodman age 50 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday April 14, 2012. A native of Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Marvin Russell and Barbara Ann Watkins Goodman. Mark is survived by his wife of 25 years, Robin Reeves Goodman; son, Matthew Reeves Goodman; daughter, Courtney Jewell Goodman all of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Edie Goodman Jackson of Sandersville, GA; aunt, Bobbie Jo Young of Louisville, KY; one niece and three nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday at St. Marks United Methodist Church with Dr. Craig Goff, Dr. Jim Clardy and Rev. Jackson Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mark attended St. Marks United Methodist Church and was a mechanical engineer with Triumph Aerostructures in Nashville. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bruce Gilley Scholarship Fund/ Belle Aire Baptist Church 1307 N. Rutherford Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37130 in memory of Mark Goodman.
